這是我很喜歡的一首歌, 簡單的旋律卻帶來向上的力量. 最近發生了許多令我關心與悲憤的事件. 旺中, 反核, 醫界四大皆空, 美牛, 油電漲價, 美麗灣, 大埔農地, 中科四期與農爭水,....., 簡直列也列不完, 當因為這些鳥新聞弄得很低落的時候, 我會反覆聽著這首歌來轉換心情. 一直想把這首歌詞翻譯出來分享給大家, 英文雖然簡單, 但中文更為直接明白. 終於可以看見有些公眾人物敢出來明白表達自己的立場, 包括張懸, 戴立忍, 李宗盛, 五月天...但當我以為這是全民運動的時候, 才發現知道的人還是那麼寥寥可數, 事件失去新聞性, 很快又被淹沒過去. 究竟人民有沒有力量去改變龐大政府所做出的決策與媒體機器所放出的消息,  我一直抱持著悲觀的看法, 人民始終是一盤散沙, 要花很久很久的時間才有辦法匯集成力量. 但是無論如何, 沒有開始, 就永遠沒有那一天.
